Yesterday we stopped by a small beach on the north shore of O'ahu that's a very popular basking and feeding spot for Honu (sea turtles). Volunteers watch the beach and keep tourists from getting too close to any visiting turtles. Still, I was no more than five feet from this one. The picture is a little deceiving, she was about the size of a large tire. I have better pictures on my Canon that I can post later.
